Galion Victoria

Introducing Galion’s first EL84 tube amplifier designed for headphones—and so much more. This compact powerhouse doubles as an integrated speaker amplifier, complete with dual subwoofer outputs. Perfectly sized for your desk, it’s ideal for both headphone enjoyment and speaker listening.

Small but powerful

On paper, the Victoria delivers just 0.25W for headphones, yet in our tests it effortlessly drove even notoriously demanding models without breaking a sweat. When paired with speakers, its 4W output might also surprise you—capable of filling an average-sized room. For the best performance, we recommend speakers rated at 91dB sensitivity or higher and listening levels around 75dB for a balanced, musical experience.

Dynamic bass and good dynamic contrast

The Victoria features a classic tube complement with two 12AX7s and two EL84s. While EL84 tubes aren’t typically known for deep bass, Doge’s design expertise allows the Victoria to defy expectations. For a single‑ended EL84 amplifier, it delivers impressively dynamic and controlled low frequencies that set it apart from the usual EL84 sound.

Airy Holographic 3D Soundstage

One of the Victoria amplifier’s greatest strengths is its sense of air and openness. This characteristic plays beautifully to the EL84’s natural ability to deliver finely detailed treble. By embracing this quality, the Victoria achieves a lively, holographic soundstage that feels spacious and engaging. This is not your typical slow or rolled‑off vintage‑sounding amp—the Victoria is vibrant, articulate, and exquisitely detailed.

High-Quality Build

Don’t let the affordable price fool you—the Victoria is built with premium components and meticulous attention to detail. It features high‑quality capacitors from Jupiter, Clarity, and MICA, including the rare Jupiter Vitamin Q capacitors—virtually unheard of at this price point. The amplifier’s chassis is equally impressive: solid, robust, and finished with a refined polish that gives the Victoria the look and feel of a far more expensive amp.

True High Resolution

You’ve probably heard the classic audiophile joke: “My system is so resolving, I can hear the singer’s saliva.” While that’s an exaggeration, it captures a real truth—high‑end systems reveal layers of detail that entry‑level gear simply can’t. The Victoria may come at an entry‑level price, but its performance sits firmly in high‑end territory. Its clarity and resolution uncover subtle textures and micro‑details hidden within your favorite recordings. It’s the kind of experience that truly makes you feel as if a veil has been lifted.

Midrange clarity

Beyond the sparkling top‑end detail, one of the first things you’ll notice is the midrange clarity. The expression “I can hear the singer’s vocal cords” is no exaggeration here. One of the EL84 tube’s greatest strengths is its lifelike midrange, and the Victoria fully embraces that character. Its midrange is voiced with rich texture and a touch of forwardness, giving you outstanding resolution and realism.

Single-ended class A design

One of the key advantages of single-ended Class A designs over push-pull amplifiers is the complete absence of crossover distortion. Single-ended Class A amplifiers are celebrated for their exceptional midrange purity, fine detail, and natural, “in-the-room” presence—qualities that make vocals and acoustic instruments sound particularly lifelike.
